“ Yellow cab pizza is a famous pizza joint in the Philippines. Was craving some pizza and ordered a large pizza. It was cheesy and a bit on the greasier side but who doesn't love some grease?! Lol. They were generous on the cheese and toppings. A large was plenty to serve 3-4 people. ”
“ Yellow Cab was first put up in their Makati Avenue branch, I recall passing by and was such a sight to see with its big Yellow signage and Vespa delivery scooters. I was thinking how cool it would be to delivery pizza in a Vespa. After it was complete, my family and I tried out their pizza and from then on I became a fan. Fast-forward to a few years and Yellow Cab still serves one of my favorite pizza and I continue to discover more delicious items on their menu. I would always order their Manhattan Meat Loves or Four Seasons pizza especially on a dvd marathon night. Last year I discovered how yummy their Tomato Soup is and would even dip my pizza in it. I also love their Charlie Chan Pasta and how spicy it can get. Yellow Cab definitely has set a bar for great local pizza in the metro. ”
“ I have to ask, am I the only one who embarrassingly thought that Yellow Cab was an American brand? Granted, I thought that around 4 years ago but still, I seriously thought that it was international! But I guess that's just props to Yellow Cab for how cleverly they brand and identify themselves. Yellow Cab just looked so unmistakably New York that I became such a believer. From the industrial inspiration, to the yellow and black colors, to the metal furniture, it all helped create such a strong image for Yellow Cab. But more than its aesthetic appeal, its menu embodied New York City as well. You can never really go wrong with Yellow Cab pizza. Its one of the crusts that I actually like to eat. Yellow Cab's pizzas are never too oily, and its menu appeals to a lot of different people. But I love Yellow Cab for their pumpkin soup as well. Surprisingly, they have one of my favorite pumpkin soups ever. The warmth of it, the texture, the bacon bits, it embodies the comfort of pumpkin soup. So Yellow Cab for me is definitely more than just their pizza. ”
“ To be perfectly honest, I've never really eaten in the Katipunan branch of Yellow Cab Pizza. But we've ordered food from the place so many times that I don't even have to specify that I want extra chili flakes or they have to watch out for our broken doorbell. PROS: Whenever we have our lazy nights in, Yellow Cab pizza is our default food delivery service. As millennials, we don't have a landline phone inside our apartment, and we're too cheap to call through our cellphones. Their online delivery system is a godsend. It's efficient, quick, and straightforward. There's a lot of fast food restaurants that have such faulty systems and really slow service that by the time they arrive, we could've gone cannibals and ate our own arms. CONS: It's not necessarily as cheap as the other fast food pizza delivery chains, but Yellow Cab offers delicious pizza and other unique menu offerings (hello Charlie Chan Pasta!) that we can never really get anywhere else. TL;DR: Yellow Cab Pizza reinforces my sloth and greed with their good food and great service, and I'm totally fine with that. ”
